The Moon River room has a lovely queen size bed in a large room with 8 ft. of sliding glass. You can tie up the heavy curtains and leave the sheers there to allow light to flood your room and still have privacy. Or close the curtains and sleep as late as you want.

This early style of massage chair does a far better job of adjusting your neck than the later models. It's comfortable to lie back on this, with your feet being worked by the foot massager, and let it wash away your aches and tension.

This is the grandest bathroom in the house, formerly the master bath. It has wonderful details of 1936 architecture, including a huge vanity, and is tiled floor to ceiling. The all tile shower has a built-in seat and 4 shower heads.

Details

This 305 sq. ft. spacious room was added as a B&B room on Valentine's Day, 2003. This romantic room is very private and separate from the rest. The floors are newly refinished, and the walls freshly painted. Four people can be comfortable here in the queen beds. Of course, it's luxurious for two. The closet was modified to become the Breakfast Nook with a 3' refrigerator, coffee maker, tea kettle, fine dishes and glassware, flatware and champagne bucket. Let me know if you have any special needs here.

The bathroom, built in 1936, is very luxurious. Wonderful old tiles, floor to ceiling, create an elegant look. There is a very large mirror over a built in vanity, as well as full size mirror on the door. The walk in shower has 4 shower heads and a built-in place to sit down. Nice, natural toiletries are provided, as well as lush towels and robes. If fine bathrooms is your idea of luxury, you'll have it here.

Guests in the Moon River room have a few hours, a few times a day to use the spa/hot tub alone. It isn't available late at night if there are guests in the East Wing as it might disturb them. I'm sure you'll get as much time as you desire in the super powered massage jets and spa area. We will work out individual schedules. The sauna is on the patio and always available.

This room can be filled with natural light if you wish, coming in from the patio, through the 8' of sliding glass. There are sheer curtains to let light in but no view in. Or you can pull the heavy curtains and hide away. There are lots of individual and private choices possible here.

$150 per night (plus hotel tax), single or double occupancy. $50 per extra person or extra bed. Rates may vary for some holidays and special events. Confirmation policy is required.
